ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES:
In 1984 Fiorentina bought the Brazilian ace Sócrates, who unfortunately did not confirm expectations despite a pharaonic signing, proving too slow for the team's game system. He remained in Florence only in the 1984/1985 season and then returned to his homeland.
