ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES:

On March 15, 1992, Inter challenged Napoli at the "San Paolo": it is the twenty-fifth day of the Serie A championship, year 1991/1992. The Nerazzurri team is not having a good time, on the bench Luis Suarez has replaced the resigning Corrado Orrico for a few games but the music (a funeral march) does not change. The climate at Inter is tense for a thousand reasons and at the 13th of Napoli - Inter the Neapolitans take the lead with Gianfranco Zola. Inter managed to equalize at 52nd with Desideri who will become the protagonist of a not very noble curtain: Desideri's exultation is addressed only to coach Suarez who is addressed, three times, with the word "asshole". Yes, Desideri has called an asshole to Luisito Suarez who, entangled by Matthaus and Fontolan, almost enters the field. The race ends with the X sign on the Totocalcio ticket and with a 15 million fine to the tongue Desideri.

PLAYERS: Giuseppe Baresi, Giuseppe Bergomi, Walter Zenga, Lothar Matthäus, Jürgen Klinsmann, Andreas Brehme, Nicola Berti, Riccardo Ferri, Sergio Battistini, Alessandro Bianchi, Angelo Orlando, Stefano Desideri, Davide Fontolan, Antonio Paganin, Massimo Ciocci, Dino Baggio, Marco Delvecchio

CLASSIFICATION IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP: 8th place
