ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES
One of the strongest teams ever, the one forged by Marcello Lippi, who in 95/96 had conquered the peaks of Europe by winning the Champions League and which in 96/97 was about to repeat itself; perhaps that is one of the games that did the most harm, in all of Juventus' history, the final lost at the Olympiastadion in Munich against Dortmund 3-1. But the 96/97 season cannot be said to be disappointing regardless of having lost the final of the highest competition, in fact the centenary year was a gallery of great successes; Juventus won the Intercontinental Cup, the European Super Cup and the 24th Scudetto. Famous in this year was the 1-6 victory at San Siro against Sacchi's Milan.
