Black short-sleeved design with tonal check pattern, sky-blue sides, white-and-sky-blue trim and S.S. LAZIO lettering below the collar. Sky-blue NESTA and number 13 on the back.
On 19 May 1999, Lazio won the last ever UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in Birmingham, defeating Mallorca 2-1 thanks to Pavel Nedved's winning goal. Alessandro Nesta captained the team, which added the UEFA Super Cup against Manchester United later that year.
