There Ennerre Nicola Raccuglia's famous brand has a long history of success, especially in the world of sportswear. The founder, a player and football enthusiast, created the company in 1972 with the help of four nuns in the Pescara area, becoming one of the largest suppliers of football apparel in the 1980s and 1990s. NR uniforms won over many Italian and international clubs thanks to the intuition to begin producing football shirts made of wool, a blend of cotton and wool, with a slight V-neck, hand-sewn numbers and crests, and the typical bright colors. This has made NR jerseys one of a kind; everyone remembers the shirt worn by Maradona at Napoli during their two Scudetto wins.
