Product variants

Sampadoria home jersey with long sleeves, with bright and non-faded colors. There are no halos or differences in the fabric, except for some very small signs of aging. The product is made for the 1988/1989 season by the technical sponsor Kappa and by the commercial sponsor Erg. Size not specified.

The Dorian jersey features its classic colors: an electric blue background on which horizontal stripes in white, black and red insist. The collar, in polo model, insists on a V-neck. The logo of the technical sponsor Kappa is applied to the right of the jersey, while the commercial sponsor Erg and the red cross shield, emblem of the football club, are clearly visible in the centre. On the right arm, on the other hand, there is the outline of the typical Genoese 'baciccia', on a background characterized by the Dorian colors, enclosed in a shield bordered in black.

In the 1988/1989 season, Sampdoria, coached by the Slavic coach Vujadin Boškov, managed to finish in fifth place in the Italian Serie A standings, thanks to its star players Gianluca Vialli and Roberto Mancini. The Ligurian team, however, obtains the victory of the Italian Cup, beating Diego Armando Maradona's Napoli, and reaches the finals of the Cup Winners' Cup and the Italian Super Cup
