Model in yellow color with a horizontal blue stripe in the center that recalls the blue inserts on the edges of the polo collar and sleeves. The Napoli crest on the left side is sewn on the front of the shirt, while the technical sponsor Lotto is embroidered on the right and the commercial sponsor Record Cucine is printed in the center. The number 11 is printed on the back, with the original autograph of midfielder Fabio Pecchia.

At the age of twenty-three Pecchia was appointed captain of the Neapolitan team wearing the sash worn a few years earlier by Diego Armando Maradona. In this period the nickname "Pepe" was born, deriving from his style of play that makes him pungent on the pitch.
