Description
Napoli Home shirt made by Nike for the 1998/1999 season, produced in mediocre conditions. The fabric retains its original color but has evident discolored areas and halos along the entire length of the shirt. Inside label Napoli, size L.
Blue long sleeve home model. At the neck there is a white collar and a blue and light blue round neckline, on both shoulders up to the entire length of the sleeves a blue and two white stripe. The shirt has the logo of the technical sponsor Nike embroidered on the right and the stitched Napoli crest on the front side of the heart. In the center the thermo-applied sponsor Polenghi and on the right sleeve the logo of the football league applied in floc. On the back thermo-applied plastic we find the name of Baldini 15.
Baldini establishes himself steadily at Napoli in the top flight, reaching the final of the Italian Cup lost against Vicenza, until becoming, after the departure of Ayala, the captain of the team starting from the 1998-1999 season. In the same period, however, he began to suffer from knee ligament problems, which led him to a long stop in the 1999-2000 season, which ended with promotion to Serie A.
