DETAILS

Home model of the season 1998/1999, short-sleeved and blue with polo collar.

On the front is applied in white flock the logo of Sampdoria on the heart side and that of the technical sponsor Asics on the right.

On the back are printed lettering ORTEGA and the number 10. On the bottom of the shirt also applied in sublimation the writing Samp.

ANECDOTS

The 1998/1999 season was a bad one for the Dorians, especially because of the injury to the bomber Montella, who could not play for most of the season.

This led to the exit from the Italian Cup in the round of 16, the 16th place in the championship with relegation to Serie B and the elimination from the Intertoto Cup at the hands of Bologna.
