Description
The shirt produced by Umbro for the 2007/2008 season is in excellent condition, the fabric has the original characteristics, with intact seams, there are no stains or streaks. Inside label size L
Short-sleeved model in yellow with red-blue inserts. The third shirt pays homage to the colors of the city of Salerno and the 100th anniversary of the grenade club born in 1919. Basic yellow with red and blue collar and sleeves edges. The front is enriched by a tone-on-tone print with a pixel effect that aims to be a reference to the art of working with Vietri ceramics. On the chest stands out the celebratory emblem for the 100th anniversary applied on the heart, with the hippocampus in yellow, on the opposite side there is the lettering of the technical sponsor Zeus applied with pressure printing. On both sleeves, in silicone, the Zeus logo is applied; on the right it features the Serie B patch, on the left the logo of the commercial sponsor Facile Ristrutturare. On the back, on the breathable fabric we find the hippocampus in white, while at the bottom appears the foundation year '1919' made with the embossed technique. The Cerci 7 customization is applied to the back.
Cluadio Lotito strikes the big blow by hiring the former technical commissioner of the Italian national football team Gian Piero Ventura, who strongly wants his protégé Alessio Cerci in Salerno. The team got off to a good start by beating Pescara 3-1 on matchday one and Cosenza away from home 1-0. On the last day, Salernitana plays access to the play-offs against the already qualified Spezia. After taking the lead, the grenades recovered in extremis for 1-2, ending the season with an anonymous tenth place.
