ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES:
In the 1992/1993 season, Inter entrusted their bench to the coach Osvaldo Bagnoli, winner of the 1985 Verona Scudetto. The dross of the disastrous season just ended led to the farewells of the Germans Brehme, Klinsmann and Matthaus, as well as the historic captain Giuseppe Baresi . At the entrance there are several foreigners such as Sammer, Ruben Sosa, Shalimov and Darko Pancev, accompanied by the very Italians De Agostini and Totò Schillaci. The team is renewed on and off the pitch and plays an excellent championship, making home unbeaten a strength. Only a very quick Milan will prevent Bagnoli's Inter from winning a sensational Scudetto, which was later won by the Rossoneri with a 4-point advantage over their neroazzurri cousins.
PLAYERS: Giuseppe Bergomi, Walter Zenga, Igor Shalimov, Sergio Battistini, Luigi De Agostini, Nicola Berti, Rubén Sosa, Davide Fontolan, Antonio Paganin, Salvatore Schillaci, Riccardo Ferri, Matthias Sammer, Angelo Orlando, Antonio Manicone, Alessandro Bianchi, Paolo Tramezzani , Darko Pancev
CLASSIFICATION IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP: 2nd place
