DETAILS
Manchester City 2016/2017 season Away match shirt by Yaya Toure. On the front is applied in gum the team logo on the heart side and is printed Nike logo on the right side. On the back are printed lettering TOURE YAYA and number 42. On the right sleeve is the UEFA patch and on the left sleeve is the RESPECT patch. The logo of the commercial sponsor is printed in light plastic, while the MCI lettering on the back neck is stitched.
ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES
The 2016/2017 season kicked off the Pep Guardiola era but the Spanish coach failed to bring trophies right away. Yaya Toure is the brother of the other footballer Kolo and of Ibrahim, also a footballer but unfortunately deceased at the age of 28. Midfielder with excellent technique, in 2012 he was the 4th highest paid player in Europe behind only Eto'o, Messi and Ibrahimovic.
