DETAILS

Chelsea season 1978/1979 long sleeve yellow shirt with green inserts. On the front are painted in green the team and Umbro logos.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

It was a very unsuccessful season for Chelsea, which finished in 22nd place, relegating to the Second Division, but the yellow-green uniform was very special and unusual for the London club, which had always been accustomed to playing in blue or white.
