Description

Official hoodie of the Italian national team made by Nike for the year 1996. The hoodie features a two-tone design with a blue body and grey sleeves, a hood, and a half-zip closure. On the chest, the word "ITALIA" appears with the Nike logo below it, while the right sleeve displays the FIGC crest with three stars and the Italian flag. The cuffs and waistband are elasticated for added comfort. The hoodie is available in size XL.

Historical Anecdote

In 1996, Italy competed in the UEFA European Championship held in England, led by coach Arrigo Sacchi. Despite a talented squad, the Azzurri failed to progress beyond the group stage after a draw with Germany and a loss to the Czech Republic. That tournament marked the end of Sacchi’s tenure as head coach, ushering in a new era for the national team.
