The 1994/1995 season was a challenging one for Manchester United under Alex Ferguson. Despite having a strong squad led by Eric Cantona, they lost the Premier League title race to Blackburn Rovers, spearheaded by Alan Shearer. The season was also marked by Cantona’s infamous "kung-fu kick" incident, which led to a lengthy suspension, depriving United of their key player in the latter part of the campaign.
