Description

Official AC Milan winter jacket from the 1988/1989 season, produced by Kappa and sponsored by Mediolanum. This red jacket with black details on the shoulders and collar features the embroidered Kappa logo on the right chest, next to the Milan crest. The back showcases the large "Mediolanum Assicurazioni" logo. A unique piece from one of AC Milan's most memorable seasons.

During the 1988/1989 season, AC Milan, led by Arrigo Sacchi with legends like Marco van Basten, Franco Baresi, and Paolo Maldini, won the European Cup, defeating Steaua Bucharest 4-0 in the final. Van Basten was the star of the show, scoring twice in the final and securing his place among football's greatest, ultimately winning the Ballon d'Or in 1988.
