DETAILS
Home match jersey with yellow and blue stripes of Verona season 2015/2016 of the striker Luca Toni. The Verona logo is applied on the front on the heart side and the Nike logo is embroidered on the right side. On the back are printed lettering TONI and number 9. On the right sleeve is the Serie A Tim patch. The logo of the commercial sponsors are printed in light plastic.
ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES
Luca Toni is considered one of the best strikers of his generation. With Italy he won the 2006 World Cup as a starter, with Palermo, Fiorentina and Bayern Munich he won the title of top scorer and was the first Italian player to win the Golden Shoe. With Verona he concluded his career where he remained initially as a consultant. When he was at Bayern they dedicated a song to him, "Numero Uno" (Number One), which remained on top for weeks on end. The 15/16 season will be Toni's last as a player but for Verona, despite the purchase of Pazzini, it will be a season to forget as they will be relegated to last place.
