DETAILS

Light blue polo-style shirt of the Italian national football team for the "Italia 90" World Cup. Tricolour inserts on the sleeves and collar, Diadora logo embroidered on the right side, and Italy logo sewn onto the left chest.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

The Italia 90 World Cup is to date the last one hosted by Italy. The hosts reached the semifinals and were eliminated by Maradona's Argentina, right in his home stadium, the San Paolo, in Naples. Maradona, however, whistled the Argentina anthem, infuriating El Pibe de Oro. It was the World Cup of the Magic Nights of Bennato and Nannini and the goals of a surprising Totò Schillaci.
