Il colore principale è il blu, abbinato a inserti bianchi sui fianchi e sulle maniche. Il 2011/2012 fu una delle stagioni più importanti del Cuneo degli anni Duemila. La squadra chiuse al terzo posto il girone A di Lega Pro Seconda Divisione e conquistò la promozione attraverso i playoff: nella finale contro la Virtus Entella pareggiò 1-1 in Liguria e vinse 5-2 la gara di ritorno in Piemonte, guadagnando l’accesso alla Prima Divisione.
