La maglia a manica corta è caratterizzata dalle tradizionali strisce verticali rosse e nere, un girocollo bianco con dettaglio rosso e le tre strisce Adidas bianche sulle spalle. Sul petto sono presenti lo stemma del Milan con stella, il logo Adidas, lo scudetto tricolore e lo sponsor Fly Emirates in bianco. I fianchi mostrano inserti rossi e sottili profili chiari. Sulla manica è applicata la patch Serie A TIM; la parte posteriore presenta nome T. SILVA e numero 33 in bianco.
L’estate 2012 segnò un inatteso epilogo dell’esperienza rossonera di Thiago Silva. Il 2 luglio il Milan ne annunciò il prolungamento del contratto fino al 2017; appena dodici giorni dopo, il 14 luglio, il Paris Saint-Germain ufficializzò l’acquisto del difensore brasiliano. La maglia appartiene dunque all’ultima stagione da lui disputata con il Milan, conclusa al secondo posto in Serie A.
