Maglia portiere Italia del 2002, realizzata da Kappa e personalizzata sul retro con Buffon e il numero 1.

Maglia da portiere blu notte quasi nera, a maniche corte e girocollo. Sul petto sono applicati il logo Kappa, lo scudetto tricolore della nazionale italiana e il numero 1 bianco. Il retro riporta BUFFON e il grande numero 1, anch’essi in bianco, con piccoli loghi tecnici sulle maniche.

Il Mondiale 2002 in Corea del Sud e Giappone fu la prima Coppa del Mondo disputata da Gianluigi Buffon come portiere titolare dell’Italia. La nazionale di Giovanni Trapattoni superò la fase a gironi, ma uscì agli ottavi di finale dopo la sconfitta per 2-1 contro la Corea del Sud, maturata ai tempi supplementari. Buffon parò anche un calcio di rigore durante quella partita. La maglia nera numero 1 è legata a un torneo molto discusso nella memoria azzurra.
