This alternate design was often used for away matches.
The 2007/2008 season marked Napoli’s return to Serie A after years of absence. Zalayeta, the Uruguayan forward on loan from Juventus, played a crucial role under coach Edoardo Reja, scoring important goals that helped Napoli secure an eighth-place finish and qualification for the Intertoto Cup.
