Preserved jersey in good condition with details still intact. Present is a small stain on the right side of the chest. Also present inside is the original manufacturer's label with size XL.

DETAILS

Manchester City 1997/1998 season short-sleeved Away match shirt in white with blue and red inserts. On the front are embroidered Kappa and Manchester logos, while are sublimated the logo of the commercial sponsor Brother in the center and the lettering M.C.F.C. in the collar. In the weave of the sleeves are the Kappa logos.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

Despite signing Manchester City's most expensive contract up to that time, namely the renewal of Kinkladze, City was unable to avoid its first historic relegation to the Third Division. The team consisted of as many as 40 players with armored contracts that prevented the club from selling easily. After 63 years the company abandoned Umbro to rely on Kappa.
