DETAILS
Lazio short-sleeved yellow match shirt with light blue inserts. Present on the front of the uniform flock logos Cirio, Puma and Lazio. On the back, always in flock, there are VIERI lettering and number 32, while on the back neck is sewn the writing SS.LAZIO.
ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES
Lazio, coached by Sven Goran Eriksson, came from the famous 3-0 defeat in the Uefa Cup final against Inter. The transfer market, however, brought Vieri, Stankovic, Mihajilovic, Fernando Couto, Ivan De La Pena and Sergio Conceicao to the Biancoceleste, as well as a recovered Nesta returning from injury. In the championship, Lazio finished in second place but managed to win the Cup Winners' Cup and the Italian Super Cup. Marcelo Salas was the season's top scorer with 24 goals, 15 of which came in the league.
