Description

Jersey in excellent condition. Also present on the side outside the manufacturer's label with size xl.

DETAILS

Away match jersey of Sampdoria season 2010/2011 of the striker Giampaolo Pazzini. On the front are sewn the Sampddoria logo on the heart side and the banner on the right side, just below the embroidered Kappa logo. On the back are printed lettering PAZZINI and number 10. On the right sleeve there is the patch Serie A Tim. The logo of the commercial sponsor is printed in light plastic, as are the Kappa logos on the sleeves.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

After 19 years, Samp had returned to the Champions League by qualifying for the preliminaries. Coach Delneri moved on to Juventus and the Doriani team faced Werder Bremen. In one of the most exciting double clashes of recent years, Samp was unfortunately defeated. In the first leg they lost 3-1 with a goal from Pazzini. In the return match, Pazzini scored again but Werder scored in the final salvage. In January both Pazzo and Cassano left Genoa to go to Milan, the first to Inter and the second to AC Milan. Just 12 months after the Champions match, Sampdoria incredibly relegated to Serie B.
