ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES:

In the 1993 transfer campaign, Sampdoria hired Ruud Gullit from Milan, the symbolic player of the Sacchi era. The Rossoneri did not believe in his physical condition due to the knee problems the Dutchman was suffering from.
