In the 1989/1990 season, the Azzurri won their second Scudetto thanks to 51 points won in 34 games, two more than Milan in second place. Maradona, after an initial period of uncertainty and misunderstanding, puts Napoli on his shoulders, scoring 16 goals in the league. Excellent championship also by Careca and Carnevale, authors of 10 and 8 goals respectively.
