The design features a bold combination of navy blue, white, and purple, with geometric details characteristic of the era. The jacket includes a full-zip closure, with the Kelme logo embroidered on the chest alongside the Real Madrid crest. The matching pants feature the iconic Kelme paw prints along the sides.

The 1997/1998 season was historic for Real Madrid, as they won the UEFA Champions League under coach Jupp Heynckes. Their 1-0 victory over Juventus in the final, thanks to a goal by Predrag Mijatović, ended a 32-year wait and marked the beginning of a new golden era for Los Blancos.
