Jersey of the Italian national soccer team totally blue with FIGC logo sewn on the heart side and number 16 sewn on the back.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

It was the first European Championship to be played without semifinals, and so far the only one. It was played in Italy, but the Azzurri did not manage to win as they passed the round in second place behind Belgium. It was also the first European Championship in which the host country was designated even before the match began.

Product specifications

Uniform kept in excellent condition despite wear over the years. There is no manufacturer's label with the size but the shirt fits XL. The mesh measures 69 cm in length and 45.5 cm in width.

DETAILS

Gray long sleeve uniform with buttonless polo collar. Used during the 1974 World Cup, it has the FIGC logo stitched on the front and the number 1 stitched in white on the back.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

The World Cup in West Germany was the first to be officially called the "FIFA World Cup" and the first in which national teams were given the opportunity to print commercial logos on their uniforms and numbers on their shorts. It was won by the home team that surprisingly beat the strong Holland of "total soccer". Italy did not make it through the rounds and was beaten on points by Poland and Argentina.

On the front, in the center, in the weave, we find the logo of commercial sponsor Barilla; on the heart side is sewn the team logo while on the right side is sewn the logo of technical sponsor Ennerre. On the back, the number 8 is painted in yellow.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

Roma's Primavera team reached the final of their category's championship but lost to Torino. Among its ranks, only Dario Rossi made his debut in the first team.

Goalkeeper uniform of the Italian National Football Team used for the qualification to the World Cup of USA 94. On the front, on a grey background, there are orange painted inserts, a particular variant of the uniform then used during the World Cup. The FIGC crest is sewn onto the heart side, while the number 1 is applied to the back.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

The USA 94 World Cup was the World Cup of Sacchi and Baggio. Italy risked leaving the competition on several occasions, but managed to make it to the finals, then lost on penalties to Brazil. The goalkeeper of the expedition was Gianluca Pagliuca.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

After the bad season with Maifredi, Trapattoni arrived at Juve and led the Bianconeri to a second place finish and to the final of the Coppa Italia, then lost to Nevio Scala's Parma. Peruzzi and Conte arrived from the market.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

Inter won the Scudetto in the 1979/1980 season and coach Bersellini, along with trainer Onesti, walked 111 km to Fontanellato to celebrate the victory. The season saw the debut of the future flag bearer Beppe Bergomi, while the championship was shaken by the "calcioscommesse" (betting fraud) that caused Milan to be relegated to Serie B.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

Lazio was saved on the field in the 1979/1980 season but the Totonero scandal caused the club to be relegated. The players Cacciatori, Giordano, Manfredonia and Wilson were arrested after the match against Pescara.

Home version shirt produced by Atala Sport in the 1967/68 season. The long-sleeved heavy fabric shirt features the goblet star on the left chest. Lightweight short sleeve model.

CURIOSITIES:

The summer of 1967 meant the end of the Grande Inter, with the sale of captain Picchi and the tightrope walker Jair. In spring 1968, after a season finale in a waning phase, with the last victory at Turin at the end of March, the president Angelo Moratti decided to sell the company to the textile impresario Fraizzoli.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES:

The 1986-1987 season was one of the most difficult in the history of Lazio, which faced the Serie B 1986-1987 championship with a 9-point penalty in the standings due to the involvement of the player Vinazzani in the Totonero affair. The Fascetti team is saved only in the play-offs played in Naples at the end of the championship.
