The Eighties were the best years for Napoli. Two Scudetti and a UEFA Cup arrived, thanks above all to Maradona. Giuliano Giuliani was the goalkeeper of the second Scudetto.

These were exciting years for Lazio, which won the Scudetto in 1999/2000 and the Cup Winners' Cup in 1998. A few years later, however, Lazio was almost bankrupt due to the crack of Cirio.
