PESCARA AWAY JERSEY PUMA TISCI 7 1997/1998

Taglia: XL

CONDITIONS

The shirt is in fair condition, the fabric has some imperfections due to wear, the applications show signs of wear, the fabric is sufficiently preserved

DETAILS

Vintage match shirt in excellent condition, year 97/98, name and number Tisci 7, excellent texture and vivid colors, stains in the front collar area, left sleeve and on the seam at the end of the garment. Puma technical sponsor, Gis ice cream commercial sponsor.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

In the 97/98 championship the club, with the arrival of Maurizio Viscidi, offers the new coach a team regenerated by the new signings: center-forward Aruta, Beghetto and Cammarata, midfielders Di Gia, Moretti and Tisci, goalkeeper Bordoni. The Viscidi-branded Pescara got off to a good start immediately, eliminating from the Italian Cup, higher category teams such as Ancona in the first round and Vicenza in the second round, before being eliminated with dignity by Fiorentina (1 - 0 in Florence and 2 - 2 at home after taking the lead by 2 - 0). In the league, however, things are not going so well, the team alternates good performances against great teams (3 - 0 in Turin, 4 - 0 in Padova, 3 - 2 in Ancona and 3 - 1 in Chievo) and then gets lost, especially in home, with teams of lower technical level. In these last matches the 2-0 defeat against Andria on the 22nd day that brings the change on the Pescara bench is decisive: in place of the exonerated Viscidi, Reja takes over first and in the following round Adriano Buffoni. The arrival of the new coach leads to a sudden reaction within the group. More space is given to some players, such as midfielder Moretti and striker Pisano, and their assist goals and assists become fundamental in the season finale. Pescara concludes the championship in fifth from last place tied with Lucchese and Monza and only +4 points from the last relegated Foggia.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES
Raised in the Atalanta youth academy, weaned by Emiliano Mondonico in the two-year period 94/96 with promotion from Serie B, Zanchi made his professional debut on the first day of the cadet, on 4 September 94, in the 1-1 draw at Chievo. He plays in Bergamo for two seasons, during which he collects 19 appearances. He began his tour of Italian teams in 96, to gain experience, the first is precisely in the team against which he made his debut, Chievo, then in Serie B, coached by Malesani, where however he will not find space and will be subsequently diverted on loan to Bari.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES
Unfortunately that year for Cosenza was cursed. The team finished in 17th place the Serie B 96/97 championship, less than three from the salvation caught by Castel di Sangro. In that year Giovanni De Biasi took turns on the bench of Cosenza who in 28 games had obtained 7 wins, 12 draws and 9 defeats and was replaced on 24 December by Francesco Scoglio who could not do better than his predecessor and in 12 games he only collected 3 wins and 7 defeats. But for Angelo Alessio it was still a decent season that from the right wing he collected 7 goals and 2 assists.

In the Tuscan village the 96/97 vintage is lived on the wave of the enthusiasm of the previous season, Empoli makes a double miracle in the two seasons 95/96 and 96/97, consecutively grabbing the promotion and thus winning a place in the Olympus of Serie A; this thanks to a close-knit group led by the great Luciano Spalletti. Carmine Esposito's 12 goals marked the fate of the 96/97 success.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

Fantastic season for Luciano Spalletti's Empoli who in the 96/97 season grabbed the promotion coming within two points behind the leaders Brescia. Despite the fluctuating start, losing at Padua's home, the signs are still encouraging because the Azzurri play with a knife between their teeth and show an unthinkable solidity for a freshman made up mostly of rookies. The arrival of Paolo Cozzi in that summer strengthens the right wing of the team of the Tuscan village.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES:
Driven by the talent and skills of the "blue tulip" Ruud Krol, Napoli in the 1980/1981 season obtained a good third place, cradling championship dreams up to the internal challenge against an already relegated Perugia, lost 1-0 with an own goal by Ferrario, at penultimate day. Campania, however, will be traumatized in the late afternoon of November 23, 1980: on the day dedicated to San Clemente, a violent earthquake shocked thousands of lives. The effects of the earthquake also extended well beyond the Campania borders.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES:
In the 1985/86 season, Napoli, also thanks to the moment of uncertainty of the Milanese and Roma, was Juve's only antagonist during the first 10 days. The Juventus team, after 8 victories in 8 league matches, stopped at the “San Paolo” stadium on the ninth day. Diego Armando Maradona interrupted the sequence of victories of the very quick "old lady" thanks to a wonderful free kick, scored against the laws of physics, on November 3, 1985.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES:
On 11 June 1989 the third to last day of the Serie A championship is played. Napoli is on stage at "Cino e Lillo Del Duca" in Ascoli. This match will go down in history due to the attacking debut of Raffaele Di Fusco, a professional goalkeeper. A Napoli full of absences goes to the Marche with only 14 players, including the second blue goalkeeper. At 79 'Careca is injured; Ottavio Bianchi has already thrown into the fray the only player of movement available and so, with the number 16 and in the role of striker, Raffaele Di Fusco enters. At the end of the match, easily won by the hosts 2-0 with goals from Cvetkovi? and the former Giordano, Bianchi will say: "Di Fusco is stronger than the Primavera forwards."

In the 1988/89 season, Serie A changes: from 16 teams to 18 participating teams. Ottavio Bianchi's Napoli, in their third year on the blue bench, is in second place, behind Giovanni Trapattoni's Inter with a clear gap of 11 points. On the other hand, in the shadow of Vesuvius comes the prestigious Uefa Cup, won in the double final against the surly Stuttgart, with a score of 2-1 at the "San Paolo" with goals from Mardaona and Careca and with the result of 3-3 in Germany. Place of honor also in the Italian Cup.
