ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

Roma disappointed in the 96/97 season by playing a fairly anonymous championship. It was the first season with the activation of the Bosman ruling that allowed clubs to buy players in an unlimited number of EU players. The top scorer was a young Pippo Inzaghi with the Atalanta shirt.

Although he has never played for a top team, Di Natale is the sixth highest scorer in the history of Serie A.
