In the 1989/1990 season, in Serie A, Napoli never lost within the walls of the “San Paolo”. On the bench sat Albertino Bigon who replaced Ottavio Bianchi from Brescia. 16 wins and only 1 draw in Naples for a total of 33 home points: this season Napoli wins their second Scudetto. The Serie A championship, 1983/84 season, sees Napoli save themselves in the final stages, with a point ahead of the relegation block. In the first part of the championship, Pietro Santin, fresh from three seasons with Cavese, sat on the blue bench.
