The long-sleeved tunic features a vibrant yellow color with white and blue details. The Genoa logo is applied to the upper left side, with white writing proclaiming 'ITALY'S MOST ANCIENT CLUB' at the bottom center. On the other side is the logo of the technical sponsor Lotto, with the number 21 in the centre. The sponsors are again on the sleeves and the club crest is placed on the left side. The 'GENOA' lettering is visible on the back of the model.

In the 2015/2016 season, Genoa had a difficult first leg with 9 defeats out of 19 games, but in the second leg they recovered with important victories against Inter and in the derby, reaching eleventh position.
