The AC Milan crest is applied on the heart side, the logo of the commercial sponsor Bwin is applied immediately below. The Adidas technical sponsor logo is applied on the right side. Along the sleeves there are the traditional Adidas stripes, in red. The technical and commercial logos are applied on the back.

In the Champions League, after winning their group with a one-point lead over PSV ahead of Schalke 04 and Fenerbahçe, on 8 March 2006 Milan defeated Bayern Munich 4-1 in the second leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League, eliminating them after the 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena.
