ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

The 1984/1985 season for Lazio was a disastrous one. The president and former glory of Lazio Sergio Chinaglia, in fact, had to change coach 3 times but in the end Lazio could not avoid the penultimate place and relegation to Serie B. The championship was won, somewhat surprisingly, by Verona and Serie A welcomed Diego Armando Maradona.

Short-sleeved model used for Europa League matches which incorporates the light blue color of the first shirt and the blue of the second. ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES:

The 1986-1987 season was one of the most difficult in the history of Lazio, which faced the Serie B 1986-1987 championship with a 9-point penalty in the standings due to the involvement of the player Vinazzani in the Totonero affair. The Fascetti team is saved only in the play-offs played in Naples at the end of the championship.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

Lazio was saved on the field in the 1979/1980 season but the Totonero scandal caused the club to be relegated. The players Cacciatori, Giordano, Manfredonia and Wilson were arrested after the match against Pescara.

On 13 May 2009, at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, the team won the final of the Italian Cup by beating Sampdoria 7-6 after penalty kicks. President Claudio Lotito described the victory, his first trophy in the Lazio adventure, as the first step in a long series.
