CURIOSITIES:

With the presidency of the shipowner and former mayor of Naples Achille Lauro, Napoli has always aimed at the noble areas of the Serie A standings. Not everyone knows that Lauro's strategy aimed at popular consensus, in such a way as to centralize this consensus also in politics, as later demonstrated with the phenomenon of "Laurism" and as evidenced by the historiographers who tell of the curious electoral campaign of "o 'Commander" based on the "give and take" mode thanks to the gift of food and the famous mismatched shoes, to receive one before the vote and another after voting. The so-called "Berlusconi of Naples" spared no expense for the purchase of the Swedish striker Hans Jeppson: in the annals there remains the expression of a fan who at the Necklace stadium, after a ruinous fall of the blond center forward, exclaimed "Banco has fallen of Naples!". A historic joke that underlined, in the manner of the Neapolitans, how exorbitant the purchase of the Swedish footballer had been who, at the technical guide of Eraldo Monzeglio, in that championship scored as many as 20 goals, 3 less than his compatriot Nordahl, top scorer of the tournament. During this season, an unfortunate event that earned all the front pages of the time should be noted. On 10 January 1954, during a Napoli - Genoa match that ended 3-2 on the field in favor of the hosts, the match director, Mr. Righi from the Milan section, gave Genoa an apparent goal on the momentary 2-1. offside. To the protest of the Azzurri players on the field was added that of the fans present at the Vomerese stadium "Necklace" who even broke the containment fences invading the pitch. This cost dearly to the Neapolitan team because the 3-2 victory on the field turned into a defeat at the table with the score of 0-2.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES:
Corrado Ferlaino, for the post Marchesi, decided to bet everything on Massimo Giacomini, a futurist coach, who has been back at Milan for two years, between relegation from office and new promotion to Serie A, and from a positive season at Turin. The start of the new coach was a disaster: 7 points in 11 games, rear in Serie A and missed bench. ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES:
The 1981/82 season for Napoli can be satisfactory within the national borders, with a good fourth place in the league. In Europe and in the Italian Cup, on the other hand, Rino Marchesi's blues did not go very far. Of note is the episode that gave birth to the long twinning between Genoa and Naples. On the last day of the championship, the two teams had an impact on the final result of 2-2. The point earned allowed the rossoblu griffins to win salvation against Milan, relegated to Serie B. The result was a nice friendship that resulted in a long twinning between the two fans: the strong bond lasted until December 2018.

In the first leg, in Milan, the match ended 1-0 in favor of the hosts; in the second leg, in Turin, the result was a draw with goals from Cuttone and Altobelli. “Spillo” Altobelli was one of the main architects of the success in the Italian Cup: the 9 goals in the Cup were added to the 9 in the league and the 3 in the Uefa Cup for a total of 21 overall goals in the 1981/82 season.

The following day, Inter recovered in the best possible way by beating Juventus 4-0 (2 Rumenigge, Ferri, Collovati). Then, a sequence of 14 consecutive useful results, including the internal draw 2-2 against Milan, stopped by the rematch of Juventus, who won in Turin against the Nerazzurri with the result of 3-1. ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES:

In the 1992/1993 season, Inter entrusted their bench to the coach Osvaldo Bagnoli, winner of the 1985 Verona Scudetto. The dross of the disastrous season just ended led to the farewells of the Germans Brehme, Klinsmann and Matthaus, as well as the historic captain Giuseppe Baresi . At the entrance there are several foreigners such as Sammer, Ruben Sosa, Shalimov and Darko Pancev, accompanied by the very Italians De Agostini and Totò Schillaci. The team is renewed on and off the pitch and plays an excellent championship, making home unbeaten a strength. Only a very quick Milan will prevent Bagnoli's Inter from winning a sensational Scudetto, which was later won by the Rossoneri with a 4-point advantage over their neroazzurri cousins.

ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES:
Osvaldo Bagnoli was the coach of Inter for a season and a half. Arrived at the beginning of 1992/1993 camoioanto, he managed to win a satisfying second place behind Milan. The following season, 1993/1994, he was sacked on the twenty-second matchday, sensationally leaving football at 59 years old. Before sitting on the neroazzurra bench, Osvaldo bagnoli, winner of a scudetto with Verona in 1985, was approached by president Silvio Berlusconi's Milan. A legend tells that Gianni Brera advised the Cavaliere to hire the technician but he refused because "Bagnoli is a communist". Bagnoli himself, some time later, said in an interview: "I voted a socialist, only because my father did it. I have never been involved in politics, he did not interest me. I was really surprised.
