ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES
Speaking of the wastes that occurred in Italia'90, the case of the Delle Alpi stadium in Turin is interesting. The facility, officially inaugurated on May 31, 1990 and which was supposed to hold up to 75,000 spectators, was built with a series of embarrassing inaccuracies that surfaced on opening night. The first five rows of all sectors, for example, were too low and close to the field. This fact would not have allowed those who would have sat in those seats to see what was happening on the pitch. To obtain the approval of the plant, the rows closest to the field were closed. This involved a loss of about 3/4,000 seats and the Delle Alpi went from a maximum capacity of 75,000 seats to 70,000.
