ANECDOTES AND CURIOSITIES

Treviso managed to save in the Serie B championship, thus avoiding relegation to the third series. The championship was won by Palermo. It was considered one of the best cadet championships ever, both because of the high number of teams (24) and because of the presence of several teams that had won the Scudetto in the past, including Napoli, Torino and Verona.
